management

ARTvest will outsource the day to day management of the syndicate to the UBU Gallery in Glasgow. UBU will be responsible for organising quarterly meetings with members and experts, liaising with the advisory panel, purchasing and transporting selected works to members, maintaining the syndicate’s register of members and works, and ensuring all work is adequately insured and protected.

UBU is among the most innovative arts organisations operating in Scotland today. It is committed to developing and supporting a new generation of artists and collectors through a unique and exciting programme of arts initiatives and projects, including fractional ownership schemes and loan schemes. See www.ubuart.org.uk

On formation of ARTvest, members will be invited to elect an Executive Committee composed of four syndicate members who will be re-elected each year. The Executive Committee's principal role will be to ensure that the syndicate's affairs are managed effectively and efficiently by UBU. UBU is accountable at all times to the syndicates' members and the Executive Committee.

All details of the syndicates management structure and the role and responsibilities of all involved parties are contained in the ARTvest charter document which can be obtained by emailing ARTvest.
